Hundreds of thousands of people around the world have responded to the suffering in Darfur by standing up and demanding that their governments take action to end the crisis. مئات الالاف من الناس فى جميع انحاء العالم ، ورد على المعاناة في دارفور والوقوف من قبل ان تطالب حكوماتها اتخاذ الاجراءات اللازمة لإنهاء الازمة. Darfur is the worst humanitarian crisis of the 21st century. دارفور أسوأ أزمة إنسانية في القرن الحادي والعشرين. Not since the Rwandan genocide of 1994 has the world seen such a calculated campaign of displacement, starvation, rape and mass slaughter. لا الاباده الجماعية في رواندا منذ عام 1994 قد ينظر اليه في العالم تحسب هذه الحملة التشريد والتجويع والاغتصاب والمذابح الجماعية. In Darfur, hundreds of people a day are raped, starved and murdered by the Sudanese armed forces and a Sudanese government-backed militia known as the Janjaweed. في دارفور ، شارك مئات الاشخاص يوميا للاغتصاب ، تجويع والقتل من جانب القوات المسلحه السودانية والحكومة السودانية المدعومه من الميليشيات المعروفة بإسم الجنجويد.
The United Nations Security Council authorized that peacekeepers be deployed to Darfur, but the Sudanese government has not yet allowed them entry. الامم المتحدة واذن مجلس الامن ، ان يتم نشر قوات حفظ السلام الى دارفور ، لكن الحكومة السودانية لم تسمح حتى الان بدخول لهم.
