New Year’s Eve at Sugar Land Town Square in Houston ( FREE )
There will be a free New Year’s Eve party in Sugar Land Town Square this year. The children’s celebration lasts from 7 to 9 pm and features huge stilt birds, candy sculptures, musical performances and light show. Fireworks mark the end of the children’s show. and a 3D ball drop ends the adult show.

Celebrate San Antonio is the largest New Year’s Eve event in Texas and it is FREE. The huge downtown fiesta (250,000+ people) begins at 6 pm on S. Alamo Street between Market and Durango, and continues throughout historic La Villita.
Enjoy local food and ethnic specialties, drink beer or soft drinks, shop the arts and crafts booths and be on the lookout for novelty exhibits and performers.
Live music from four stages, both local and nationwide, specific areas for children and families, and festivities continue until 1230 am. Join the countdown to midnight and the spectacular Fireworks Extravaganza in Hemisphere Park.

We have spent several days at this nice RV park located about 1-1/2 miles from Sea World and 15 minutes from the medical center. The facilities include a large heated pool with separate jacuzzi, laundry room, activity center, curbside garbage pickup, free Wi-Fi and free cable with HBO. Good Sam Park.
