Thank you for your efforts to raise awareness and money for relief in this isolated country. Vielen Dank für Ihre Bemühungen, das Bewusstsein und das Geld für Nothilfe in diesem isolierten Land. I heard on the radio today that the death toll has risen to more than 100,000 with riots in the streets for available food and water. I’ll tell you what, that was just horrible and sickening. Ich werde Ihnen sagen, was, das war einfach schrecklich und widerlich. To think that it killed 22,000 and 41,000 missing, likened to Katrina doesn’t really do it justice. Zu glauben, dass sie getötet 22000 und 41000 fehlen, hat den "Katrina" nicht wirklich tun es Gerechtigkeit. At least LA seems to be rebounding, there’s no telling when a place like this will ever come back around if it ever will. Mindestens LA zu sein scheint zurückprallend, ist es nicht zu sagen, wenn ein Ort wie dieser werden immer wieder um, wenn es jemals wird.

@steve-I cannot believe we have not gotten aid to these folks. @ steve-Ich kann nicht glauben, haben wir nicht bekommen Beihilfe zu diesen Leuten. They have been without drinking water since the 4th. Sie wurden ohne Trinkwasser, da der 4.. Soon disease will start and we will lose millions. Bald Krankheit beginnt und wir werden verlieren Millionen. In the meanwhile, we do not help them because their government has not allowed us in? In der Zwischenzeit haben wir nicht helfen, weil ihre Regierung hat uns nicht erlaubt?
@chris-Now they are saying that the death toll may be as high as 100,000. @ chris-Nun sind sie sagen, dass das Seebeben kann bis zu 100.000. I think the UN was able to get some relief workers in there today, but it is too little, too late. Ich denke, die UN konnte man einige Helfer in die es sich heute, aber es ist zu wenig, zu spät.

Glad you highlighted it as many forget about the ongoing problems there. Gut, dass Sie hob es so viele vergessen, über die anhaltenden Probleme gibt. There was a Burma exhibition at our Human/Animal Rights Day recently in Johannesburg where they had lots of excellent info and films on the problems in Burma. Es gab eine Ausstellung in Birma unser Human / Animal Rights Day vor kurzem in Johannesburg, wo sie hatten viele hervorragende Infos und Filme über die Probleme in Birma. Hopefully they made the thousands of visitors more aware and raised tons of money. Ich hoffe, sie haben sich Tausende von Besuchern mehr bewusst, und warfen Tonnen von Geld.

Government there is the real problem. Regierung ist das eigentliche Problem. I cant figure out what kind of people can be sitting there and prevent help to enter their country. I cant herauszufinden, welche Art von Menschen können dort sitzen und verhindern helfen, dass die Einreise in ihr Land. Are they so paranoid that they think we will bring some kind of evil inside? Sind sie so paranoid, dass sie denken, werden wir eine Art des Bösen im Inneren? Cant they see its just food and medicine? Cant sie sehen nur ihre Nahrung und Medizin? Its not surprising that people are dying there, thousands of them, in rebellions and uprisings. Es ist nicht verwunderlich, dass Menschen sterben, Tausende von ihnen, in Rebellionen und Aufstände. The government they have now is something to fear. Die Regierung haben sie jetzt etwas zu befürchten.
