Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo

The HoustonRodeo is the largest rodeo in the world, with 1+ million spectators each year. The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo takes place at Houston’s Reliant Park on March 3-22.

Trail Rides

Right now, trail riders all over Texas, Mexico and Louisiana are preparing to ride to Houston on horseback in 13 separate trail rides.

Special Days

March 4, 6 and 13 are the days of the Lil’ Rustlers Rodeo, where children with physical and mental disabilities are teamed with professional cowboys to put on a rodeo to remember. Other special days are Black Heritage Day (3/7), Ladies Night Out (3/13) and Go Tejano Day (3/16).

Music

When the rodeo events are completed, a revolving stage is moved to the center of the arena and the music begins. Every evening the HoustonRodeo features live concerts with some of the biggest names in music, such as John Legend, Tim McGraw, Fergie, Faith Hill, John Fogerty and Martina McBride, just to name a few.

Tickets

If you are interested in seeing the rodeo or the music events, you should purchase your HoustonRodeo concert tickets now. The most prized seats are the coveted Action Seats, which are along both sides of the rodeo ring and comprise the first seven rows of sections 103-110 and 123-130. Action Seat tickets include complimentary food and beverages.

Expo

Ranching and Wildlife Expo will be held March 5–8 in Reliant Arena. Educational seminars related to ranching and wildlife are held and hunting and fishing trips, bird watching excursions and wildlife artwork are auctioned.

Almost Heaven RV Resort is located south of Houston in a rural setting, with convenient access to the Houston Medical Center, as well as all the Sporting and Convention facilities. The resort has a fishing lake, shady spots and all amenities.

    The RodeoHouston is the largest livestock exibition in the world. Every year it attracts more people . In 2007, it is said that more than 2 millions people have attended the show and attendance this year is expected to be more than that. Since this great number attend, I think about tickets for this wonderful show and I’m sure there will be scarse of them and prices will be raised. A friend has recommended me a site for comparing tickets prices for free and purchase my tickets in advance. here it is:
