Happy Veteran’s Day

The difference between Veteran’s Day and Memorial Day.

Memorial Day honors service members who died in service to their country or as a result of injuries incurred during battle. Deceased veterans are also remembered on Veterans Day, but Veteran’s Day was set aside to thank and honor living veterans who serve or have served honorably in the military, in peace or in war.

On Veterans Day, special services take place at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers in Arlington National Cemetery.

Today, November 11, 2007, remember all veterans of all conflicts, whether standing proudly in your community, serving overseas in the Middle East, lying in Arlington National Cemetery, in the Fields of Flanders or inscribed in the Wall in Washington.

God Bless You. Thank You.
We Will Remember …
