Share your Halloween posts about easiest homemade costumes, funniest Halloween trick ever, best homemade treats, spooky stories, haunted houses– you name it. Write about family activities that you do instead of trick or treating. If you do not celebrate Halloween, then share your favorite thoughts about Fall. Fall color, Fall traditions, Fall crafts, family reunions, harvest recipes and handmade gifts.

I don’t have a blog but I will share a homemade costume I used to wear… when I was a kid, my dad was in the Army and would let me wear his old uniforms (trimmed way down to size so I could fit in them) all the time. Of course, for a long period of time we lived on the military base… so every Halloween me and a bunch of the neighborhood kids would always wear the same costume =) It wasn’t until we moved off the military base that I realized the true diversity of Halloween costumes =)

@perros-Thanks for sharing. When I was growing up, there was not a great amount of diversity in costumes. We had to use something we already had, so there were a lot of witches, vampires, lumberjacks, ghosts and pirates. Thanks for sharing this story!
