Terror on the Bayou has Begun
Terror on the Bayou outside of Jefferson, Texas, offers two frightening venues for your terror! First, there is the Runaway Fright Train, a steam train that screams along five miles of the Jefferson & Cypress Bayou Railway through the dark woods along Big Cypress Bayou. The theme this year is Frightening Fairytales.
Runaway Fright Train Schedule:
Friday
PG (family oriented) 730 pm
PG-13 830 pm and 930 pm
Saturday
PG (family oriented) 730 pm and 830 pm
PG-13 930 pm and 1030 pm
Sunday
PG (family oriented) 730 pm
PG-13 830 pm
If terror on train tracks is not your idea of fun, then you may enjoy The Creepy Screamin’ Maze. The maze covers over an acre. Watch out for the 100-foot underground Tunnel of Doom. Beware, once you enter this post apocalyptic wasteland, you will be exposed to your nightmares: monsters and ghouls; evil clowns, skeletons and ghouls; feral hogs, rats, spiders and snakes.
Prices range from $8.50 to $12.50 for Runaway Fright Train; and $8 for an evening in the Screamin’ Corn Maze. Combination tickets are available at discounted rates.
Daylight walks through the stalks are available Friday, Saturday and Sunday, October 26, 27 and 28 from 130-430 pm. This is perfect for smaller children and others who like there terror tepid. It costs $3 per person (cash only).
