Help for an American in London
I would love to travel to London. There is so much history that it must be like walking through time and ancient spaces. I would be the ultimate London Tourist, with my guidebooks, camera and Texas accent!
You may not know this, but London is number two most expensive city in the world (Mercer Human Resource Consulting, 2007). One way to see more and spend less is to purchase the London Pass. This pass will entitle you to free entry at 56 tourist attractions, with priority access at the busiest sites so that you have VIP status and may bypass the waiting lines!
London Pass comes with a free guidebook that details the location, operating hours and admission prices for the most popular attractions. The guidebook helps you route your trip on public transport. On the website of London Pass is an interactive map to help you plan every detail of your visit to London. Other benefits of the London Pass include discounts on other attractions and a wealth of information that is priceless to an visitor to London.
You may want to purchase the optional London TravelCard that is good for transportation to all the attractions listed in the guide. Please visit the website of LondonPass.com, sponsor of this post, for details and pricing.

@chamonix-great advice! Thanks for stopping by.
Pick up an Oyster card for traveling in London. You top it up with cash and then never have to worry about small change and queuing for tickets. It has the added benefits of saving you money and making you look like a local.
@warhammer-I wish I could go. When I am researching for these posts, I always wind up checking airfare!
I went to London in June and I highly recommend it to everyone. The sights are just magnificent. Nice pub’s too :)
