Looking for Something? AuctionSHARK Finds It!
Reviews September 10th, 2007We are now the proud owners of a black, 1994 Chevy 2500 Diesel 4×4 truck. We have dubbed the truck, Beast 2, because we will be using it to tow Beauty, our travel trailer. The truck gets about 18 miles to the gallon, which is 10 miles to the gallon more than the original Beast, a 1987 Ford Club Van XL.
Even so, with the price of diesel so high, and the future of biodiesel up in the air in Texas, we are looking for ways to increase our gas mileage. We would also like the diesel to burn as efficiently as possible, thus reducing any emissions that might harm the environment.
While reading diesel and biodiesel forums, I had read about a computer chip that allows diesel truck owners to maximize their gas mileage by inputting the type of performance level required. As I understand it, you are able to tell the computer if you are towing or highway driving or off roading. The chip monitors timing, turbo boost pressure, and fuel to maximize power, torque and mileage.
I had searched the Internet, but not knowing exactly what the chip was called, I did not find much. Then I discovered AuctionSHARK, a website that hunts down good deals. I just took a wild guess and searched for the term, diesel computer chip. Within a minute, my search results, which you may view here, showed me two pages of results.
I simply modified my search to include Chevy and AuctionSHARK narrowed the results down to two products, the Edge EZ for Chevy or GMC Duramax 6.6L LLY and the Edge EZ for Chevy or GMC Duramax 6.6L LB7, both from eTrailer Hitches and Racks. From the search results page, I just clicked through to the store for more information.
From start to finish, I spent a total of five minutes with AuctionSHARK and I believe I found what I need. What a time saver! If you are looking for an item, you should try AuctionSHARK, sponsor of this post. If I am shopping, this is going to be my search engine!
