The 45th Annual Championship Pow-Wow is presented by the Dallas/Fort Worth Inter-Tribal Association. Several hundred Native Americans, dancers in full regalia of feather, buckskin, beadwork and bells, will be competing in dance categories for prize money and special awards.

Dance Categories: Tiny Tots (0-6 years) * Junior Girls (7-15 years) * Junior Boys (7-15 years) * Men & Women Golden Age (55+ years) * Women (16-54 years) Buckskin, Cloth, Fancy Shawl, Jingle Dress * Men (16-54 years) Straight, Traditional, Grass, Fancy War Dance

The dance contests will take place in the Indian Dance Arena on west side of market:

  • Friday from 7-11 pm
  • Saturday from 11 am-5 pm and 7-11 pm
  • Sunday from 1-5pm

Artists, crafts people and traders from across the nation sell jewelry, blankets, pottery, paintings, baskets and clothing during the Indian Arts and Crafts Show. Discover the ultimate in portable camping gear at the tepee exhibit. Taste American Indian food, like authentic fry bread, Indian tacos and corn soup.

The arts and crafts show and food booths in the Green Expo Building will be open:

  • Friday night 6-12 pm
  • Saturday from 10 am-12 pm
  • Sunday from 10 am-7 pm
