Lady Bird
Lady Bird Johnson, first lady, environmentalist, savvy business woman, and the wife of the 36th president of the United States, Lyndon Baines Johnson, died today. She was 94.
There is not enough room to write a tribute to Lady Bird. I tried in a prior post and will leave it at that.
All Texans were touched by this woman’s energy and public spirit. We will remember her every spring, forever. Bye, bye, Lady Bird.

It seems like an end of an era with her passing, doesn’t it? What a remarkable, strong woman.

@chubby mommy-She was a very strong woman. Nothing fazed her and she always kept her cool.
