What Would You Name Your Ranch?
Country, Historic travel, RV Travel June 26th, 2007I am not sure if this is tongue-in-cheek humor or if the ranch was purchased with the proceeds from a lucky roll of the dice. Either way, I had to stop and take a picture.
High cotton means living the good life, as in “Once the house sold, they were living in high cotton.” Now, this rancher has a sense of humor. He named his ranch High Cactus, which is probably the direct opposite of high cotton.Photographs by Eileen Trainor all rights reserved
If you had a ranch or farm, a piece of land big enough to deserve a gate and an entry arch, what would you name your piece of land?

I love thinking of ideas for names of boats, houses or ranches. When I see boats on Boston Harbor I am amazed at the clever names.

@rhea-Thanks for stopping by. My husband and I are trying to think of a good name for our driveway we just put in to accommodate our travel trailer. We thought about “Easy Street,” but my mind just won’t get around any others.
