Deer Everywhere hundreds of deer at Medina LakePhotograph by Eileen Trainor

We saw more deer than ever at Medina Lake this week. Click on the photograph above to open larger view in another window. When we go to Medina Lake, we always have deer corn in a huge bucket in the back of our van. There is a cup that I use to dip the corn from the bucket. All I have to do is shake the cup and the deer come running.

Sunset at Medina Lake

Medina Lake SunsetPhotograph by Eileen Trainor

Just one sunset out of a week of sunsets. I wish we could have remained at Medina Lake–forever. When we arrived home, we discovered my son had wrecked my new car. This is the second car of mine he has totaled while I am out of town. He does not have keys, he does not even have a driver’s license. What do you do when you realize that your son has no morals or scruples? He took the keys out of my purse and had a copy of my car key made while I was sleeping.

I am in shock and do not know what to do. I called my insurance agent, but I am still waiting to hear back from an adjuster. If I can file a claim on my insurance, do I want to? Where does the wreck show up, my record or his? If I do not claim it on my insurance, how do I pay for the thousands of dollars to fix my car? I just want to run away and stay away for a long while.
