Beauty and The Beast - First Trip - Colorado to Texas
Many of you have left comments about wanting to see our travel trailer, Beauty. As you can see, Beauty is a classic 1985 Fleetwood Prowler Regal 26 foot travel trailer.

Beauty goes nowhere without The Beast, the black van that pulls her around the countryside. Above is a rare picture of Beauty by herself. This was Christmas last year on the Texas coast.

I do not have any pictures of the inside of Beauty. When you walk in the door (pictured above), to your immediate left is the TV cabinet, and you are directly across from the kitchen (stove, counters, cabinets and window over sink. The full-sized fridge is behind you when standing at the sink.
If you turn to the right, you are in the carpeted living area which is just big enough for two leather arm chairs and ottomans. Each side of the trailer has a large window with screens that open. Above the chairs are cabinets and the huge window that is protected by the gravel guard you can see raised in the beach picture.
As you walk past the kitchen through the trailer, you enter the bedroom with two twin beds. I do not know why twin beds were so popular in the 1980s, but every trailer I have seen has them. It was before slides became popular, so I guess it was have twin beds or step over the bed to reach the bathroom, at the very back. There are two large windows with screens, one over each bed. Above the windows are cabinets and at the bottom of the bed are two larger cabinets. Under one of these cabinets is a swivel out shelf for the TV in the bedroom.
From the bedroom, you open a door to the bathroom. Directly in front of you is the toilet and a small window over a sink. To the left is a large closet with drawers and shelves. To the right of the door is a small tub-shower with vent.
It is not much, but it is ours and we love it. We are always looking at newer trailers, Class C RVs and fantasize about buying another, but I think we will keep Beauty and The Beast until the wheels fall off. LOL
