Keeping Cool in Your Car this Summer
It is 99 degrees in Texas today at 6 pm. The Beast, the van we used to pull our travel trailer, does not have a working air conditioner. I have been trying different methods to cool in intereior of the van because it is black and really heats up on the interior. I tried putting a sun protector in the windshield and leaving the windows cracked. Nothing has worked.
I saw the Auto Cool Solar Car Fan on TV and found it on a website for $14.95. This is what I read on the website:
Auto Cool Solar Car Fan is a solar powered ventilation system for your car! Using the power of the sun, it blows hot air out of a parked car to keep it up to 30 degrees cooler than it would normally be. Perfectly for those hot summer afternoons! Compact, it fits in any car window and does not need batteries.
I ordered it and am now waiting for it to be delivered. I sure hope it arrives soon, because it is predicted to be over 100 degrees for the next week! Next week? What am I talking about? It stays summer until October in Texas.

The place is beautiful and it should be kept that way. Oh I never thought that there are really ghost towns.
