The most grueling canoe race in the world, شاقة دامت اكثر زورق سباق في العالم ، the Texas Water Safari تكساس المياه سفاري , will start at 9 am on June 10, 2006 in San Marcos, Texas. ، ستبدأ في 9 صباحا من يوم 10 يونيو / حزيران 2006 في سان ماركوس ، تكساس. This year, a class has been added to allow boats, not just canoes, to compete in the Safari. وفي هذه السنة ، تمت اضافة فئة السماح للزوارق ، وليس فقط الزوارق ، وعلى المنافسة في سفاري. Nothing may be purchased or delivered to a team during the race except water and/or ice. لا شيء يمكن ان يشترى او تسليمها الى فريق أثناء السباق باستثناء المياه و / أو الجليد. Teams must arrive at mandated checkpoints by specific times to remain competitive and finish within 100 hours to win the coveted Safari patch. فرق يجب ان التوصل الى نقاط التفتيش المكلفه من قبل اوقات محددة لتظل قادرة على المنافسة وتنتهي في غضون 100 ساعة للفوز مطلوب سفاري التصحيح.

IFest is a world music festival that will be held in downtown Houston the last two weekends in April. Ifest هو مهرجان موسيقى العالم التي ستجري في وسط هيوستن الماضيين في عطلة نهاية الاسبوع في نيسان / ابريل. Come Back to Jamaica, Come Back to Downtown العودة الى جامايكا ، والعودة الى وسط المدينة features ميزات Reggae ريجيه music this year, but all music genres will be heard. الموسيقى هذا العام ، ولكن جميع انواع الموسيقى آذانا صاغية.

After the Roman Empire devolved into the Dark Ages, barbarians sacked and burned the cities of the civilized world. الامبراطوريه الرومانيه بعد ان انتقلت الى العصور المظلمه ، اقال البربر وحرق مدن العالم المتحضر. As the libraries, the temples and the churches burned, the collective history and the great scientific and mathematical advances of past civilizations went up in smoke. كما والمكتبات والمعابد والكنائس وأحرقت ، الجماعية والتاريخ العظيم والعلم والتقدم للرياضي الحضارات الماضية ارتفعت في الدخان.
