MUSIC: Satellite Radio and RVing
There are two satellite radio providers, Sirius and XM. They both have approximately the same number of channels: music (60+); news, sports, talk and entertainment (50+); traffic and weather for major cities (21). Both offer online listening, Sirius is free and XM is under $5 per month. The monthly fees for both providers for satellite radio are, at this time, $12.99 per month.
What a difference this will maks in our travels. Beauty, our travel trailer has a 20-year old AM-FM radio and these little, tiny speakers. Even to our aging ears (too many rock concerts in our youth), the sound system was definitely lacking. We chose Sirius because of the excellent sports, rock and talk radio stations. After we selected Sirius Satellite Radio, we went looking for deal. We chose the Sanyo CRSR-10 Radio–with car and home kits. Get the Best Satellite Radio
