Have you Been to Medina Lake?

Traveling this week to Medina Lake. Arrived Saturday, so we did not have many choices to park. Left the trailer hooked to the van and Sunday evening, we went cruising to find a lakefront location. Now we are right on this beautiful lake. When you put out deer corn, the ducks come too!

Out here is truly God’s country. Rolling hills, streams, rivers, lake and wildlife. Although Medina Lake is less than an hour from San Antonio, you would never know it was in the same area. The lake has not been “developed to death” as so many others in the Hill Country.

Well, I am posting from a dialup connection at the campgrounds and there is a 15 minute limit, so I will say …

Goodbye from God’s Country,

Eileen

Have I been to Medina Lake? You bet, back in the early ’60’s when Dad was at Lackland and then Medina AFB, we lived on the South side. It was WAY out in the bush then. Moved on since those days and haven’t been back to San Antonio except once maybe 12 years ago for a quick walk along the River, and boy have they got that area improved! Thanks for teasing a forgotten memory out of the old gray stuff.
